A colorful group of monsters are competing with their inventions! Few people know this, but the monsters living in the Urliverso are a very competitive lot. To prove they’re the best, Skeletons, Vampires, Werewolves and all the other creatures have devised all sorts of competitions, such as the Stregami Prize for fantasy literature, the Monsterchef cooking contest or the Bone-Olympics. The Blobel Prize is the prestigious science and invention competition, which the Skeletons have never won: of course, no one would ever bet on a creature with an empty skull. Yet in Ossuary-under-the-Cemetery lives just the right guy: Tibiero De’ Ossi, who for many centuries has been the laboratory skeleton in the Lands of Earth. It’s a pity that Tibiero prefers napping to inventing, and tasting cheese rather than assembling gears. Only with the help of the young skeleton Pietro De’ Ossi and his werewolf friend Lupita Tibiero will manage to come up with the right idea.
